ANATS National Conference 2022
October 1, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 7:00 pm
I am an invited accompanist for the ANATS National Conference 2022:
ENCOMPASSING THE VOCAL SPECTRUM
and am accompanying the musical theatre and contemporary vocal masterclasses on Saturday. There is a wonderful program happening all weekend.
The 2022 National Conference: 29 September – 2 October
Our voices have the ability to both define us as individuals and unite us in community. ANATS warmly invites you to celebrate the rich diversity of all things singing at our 2022 National Conference “Encompassing the Vocal Spectrum”. As the peak professional development event for singing teachers in Australia, this conference is an opportunity to bring together singers, singing teachers, voice practitioners and researchers in a collegial and informative environment.
The conference will be held from the 29th of September to the 2nd of October in the beautiful and historic Adelaide, SA. If you’re unable to join in person, you can also take part from the comfort of your living room with our online registration option. For all delegates, both in-person and online, recordings of the conference sessions will be available for replay for one month after the conference.
Joining us online will be three luminary keynote presenters – Ingo Titze, Trineice Robinson-Martin and Shannon Coates. Australia’s own Tyran Parke will also deliver a keynote adress, and some of our leading national figures – Irene Bartlett, Deborah Cheetham, Carl Crossin and Stuart Maunder – will deliver practical masterclasses, workshops and Q&As. There will be engaging discussion encompassing a range of topics relating to the conference themes:
-
Diversity, equity and inclusivity in the singing voice profession
-
Mind, body and voice: the holistic singer and teacher
-
Singing and communities
-
Perspectives of learning and teaching
In addition to keynote addresses, research presentations and panel discussions, there will also be ample opportunity for practical workshops, masterclasses, singing and networking with colleagues.
Lunch, morning and afternoon tea each day is included in the registration price.
At ANATS we are passionate about creating an inclusive singing community that promotes and values diversity across race, gender identity, age, religion, education and sexual orientation. We are committed to representing, connecting with and supporting all singers and singing teachers.
