The effervescent flapper girls, American heiress, Ruby and East-End social climber, Hester, have some time to kill before dashing off to the next fashionable gathering of bright young things.
What better way to spend it than by having a few drinks, a gossip and a bit of a singalong?
Step into the glamorous Roaring Twenties as the inimitable Hester and Ruby bring their speakeasy spirit back to Adelaide Fringe! Share an hour of idle merriment and frivolity bound together by fabulous 1920’s songs. Pass the gin, darling!
★★★★★ “Presented with a great deal of warmth and good humour… Beautiful costumes, classic songs from two talented performers, a light-hearted production which left the audience smiling – simply great entertainment” Southside Advertiser, Edinburgh, 2018BOOK NOW!
Emma Knights is so pleased to be playing the piano for this wonderful show again as the “rather serious and seemingly disapproving pianist.” (Southside Advertiser). Adelaide Theatre Guide described my part as “Joined by the hilariously disapproving Emma Knights on keyboards (who holds it together despite the wackiness around her, even when the props aren’t behaving themselves)”. So if you want to see my disapproving acting and enjoy a rather good time then this is one Adelaide Fringe show not to miss!
