Murder & Music Mysteries: Murder At The Manor
February 24 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm ACDT$120
Welcome to The Manor Basket Range. Built in 1935, the sandstone building set on a sloping, two-hectare property was designed in the image of Warwick Castle in England. The building was commissioned by Albert Pinchbeck, great-grandson of the owners of Warwick Castle and grandson of a wine taster and vigneron some say established Adelaide’s first vineyard. This is where you can join us for a night of murder, music and mystery on a wintery Adelaide Hills evening.
We take you back to 1935 when Albert Pinchbeck has built this castle for his current love. She has proven not to be interested and consequently left him. Over the years he has become a reclusive man with quarrelsome relatives. He has invited them all, and some of his closest friends, to the Manor for a reading of his will. Tensions will build and lead to murder.
Throughout the night, you are surrounded by suspects and potential victims. Your task is to learn the family secrets and ultimately, the identity of the murderer.
This story is based on the history of the castle but is not representative of actual events!
Michelle Nightingale and Emma Knights will keep you entertained and guessing with a live soundtrack full of clues! We encourage you to come dressed in character in addition to being prepared to fully immerse yourself in the mystery!
Strictly limited numbers for this murder mystery so book while you can! Your ticket includes either a delicious brunch or a full three-course dinner by The Manor’s 5-star rated chef. Optional matched wine package and overnight accommodation with breakfast packages are also available at a special rate – please contact the venue direct for more information!
